Data Analyst Wanted

Can you help to analyse Phase 1A of the restoration of the Cotswold Canals?

The Cotswold Canals Project wishes to employ a data analyst on a part-time, temporary contract.

The importance of analysis

Val Kirby, Chair of the Saul Junction to Stonehouse (Phase 1B) Working Group, explains the importance of analysing and evaluating what we have achieved so far.

“This is an essential part of the process of submitting a bid to the Heritage Lottery Fund for a grant to enable the restoration of the Stroudwater Navigation from Saul Junction to Stonehouse (Phase 1B).

"We need to take note of the lessons learned during the renovation of the section between Stonehouse to Hope Mill (Phase 1A).

"By analysing all elements of that restoration we can build the results into the application. This will improve our chances of a successful bid.”

Evaluation of restoration to date

The analyst will be employed to undertake data collation, analysis and report writing as part of the Evaluation of Phase 1A of the restoration of the Cotswold Canals.
