Hello and welcome to ENews 2009-18.
No headlines today because the prime objective of this issue is to let you know that the Christmas cards have arrived!
Some members will be aware that we were not planning to issue a new Christmas card this year. Apologies for a last minute change of plan then, especially if you had an order returned.
Suffice it to say Plan B sprang into action when a golden opportunity presented itself to produce a card from our regular card painter Paul Joyce.
The card is a new painting of Chalford and very good it looks too, you can find a picture of the card in the Connect Photo Gallery at http://www.cct.teamconnect.org.uk/display_photo_gallery.php They are available now from the Heritage Centre, from the Roadshow at Stroud Farmers Market on November 14th and by mail order.
A pack of 10 cards costs only £3.95 including P&P. All profits will go to the Cotswold Canals Trust.
There was an omission from the gift ideas in the last issue and that was to suggest a copy of our own in-house book "The Cotswold Canals" that was published earlier this year for just £5.95 including P&P.
Please send your mail orders to Linda Amery, 13 Bowbridge Lock, Stroud, Glos., GL5 2JZ. Please detail the items you require, add your name address and phone number, and enclose a cheque for the amount due payable to CCT (Trading) Ltd
The primary objective of ENews is to keep members, volunteers and subscribers up to date with what's happening within the Cotswold Canals Trust as a whole. Any and all feedback is more than welcome.
If you have any newsworthy items you would like to be considered for inclusion please let me know at firstname.lastname@example.org but please remember there should always be a connection with the Stroudwater, the Thames & Severn or the CCT – however tenuous.
