A CRACKING START AT CRICK

Grateful thanks are due to all the brave souls who volunteered to help at Crick last weekend and encountered some awful weather for their trouble. It was really successful with many new members being recruited and a lot of interest being shown in the Trust's activities.

Well done to all involved!

BEALE PARK THAMES BOAT SHOW (Friday 8th – Sunday 10th June)

The Roadshow is going to this prestigious event next weekend, and I have received the following appeal from Mike Slade our Roadshow Manager: –

"Please – can you help me with this one?
Time is getting short and I could really do with some more of you coming forward, even if it's just for a couple of hours during the weekend.

For starters I need four or more people to help erect the marquee on THURSDAY 7TH JUNE. I can offer a lift to two people from anywhere along the route I'll be taking of Stonehouse/Stroud/Cirencester/Lechlade, dropping them back again in the evening when the job is done.

The Show opens on Friday 8th and there are plenty of volunteer vacancies on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the moment! The Roster is available for viewing on the Connect website at http://www.cct.teamconnect.org.uk. If you are able to help, please give me a ring on 07805 110 080 to discuss further.

Please do what you can to support the Trust at this important event……I am really looking forward to hearing from you!

Kind regards
Mike Slade, Roadshow Manager"

Since Mike issued this heartfelt plea I have ascertained that there are 10 free admission tickets on offer. They will be issued on a strictly first come first served basis to the first 10 volunteers who phone Mike and put their names down for a minimum of TWO 2-hour shifts sometime over the weekend.
