BBC Radio Gloucestershire’s Boat Trip — Visits Saul

BBC Radio Gloucestershire’s ‘Great Gloucestershire Boat Trip’ called in at Saul Junction for an overnight stay on Tuesday 9th May.

Gloucester Narrowboat’s holiday hire narrowboat Ratty has been a studio afloat for the past five days.

Presenters, turned boaters, Dominic Cotter and David Smith invited listeners and their fellow broadcasters to ‘come along and say hello’ between 5pm & 7pm.

Consequently the Visitor Centre was open well past 7pm that evening.

The cruise north on Narrowboat Ratty resumed on a warm Wednesday morning after a quick photo-shoot

Prior to his departure Dominic Cotter was invited on board CCT Trip Boat Endeavour by CCT Volunteers Tim Kerry and Jill Field.
