Three Hundred Club Draw – April 2012

Cash prizes exceed £1000 in April draw

The Cotswold Canals Trust members Three Hundred Club April Draw was held at the Heritage Centre at Saul Junction on Sunday 1st April 2012.

The draw was made by Rob Burgon manager of the Trust’s Western Trip Boat operation.

Rob was at Saul to oversee the start of this year’s public trips on board the newly refurbished trip boat Perseverance.

It was a brilliantly sunny day and the towpath saw a continual parade of families out to enjoy an early April ice cream. Many of them stepped aboard Perseverance for the 25 minute trips.

Boat Loads of Bounty

As soon as Rob pressed the random selection button on the Three Hundred Club membership computer, boats full of bounty metaphorically set sail for member’s addresses in Cirencester, Stonehouse and Alveston.

  • First prize of £619 – won by
Mr J Deacon from Cirencester with stake number 95
  • Second prize of £310 won by
