Three Hundred Club — Spring Draw

Spring draw made afloat on Edward Elgar

The Three Hundred Club is the Trust’s lottery held every January, April, July and October.

The Spring 2017 Three Hundred Club draw was made by Steve Whitby, Captain of English Holiday Cruises’ vessel Edward Elgar.
Steve was ably assisted by his First Officer, Jen Altham pictured below with Three Hundred Club Manager Diana Edwards.
Steve has been in charge of Edward Elgar since March 2016 having previously served as a submariner for twenty five years.
The passenger group had disembarked at Saul Junction to take a guided walk led by Jill and Clive Field to view the recently restored Junction Lock.

Edward Elgar was on the first outing of its 2017 season. English Holiday Cruises, The Gloucester based family run business holds corporate membership of Cotswold Canals Trust.
The company generously nominated the Trust as its ‘favoured charity’ for 2017 and  provided the cruise to the Trust free of charge.
Promotion, bookings and passenger payments were administered by CCT’s Jude Lindley.
All profits will be added to the Trust’s new Trip Boat Fund.
A full report on the ‘Unique Weekend Cruise’ will follow soon.
