How to Find Us
Bond’s Mill Business Estate is well signposted from the roundabout on the A419 — Bristol Road, west of Stonehouse.
The Visitor Centre is situated canal side in a commanding position overlooking the former woollen mill — Bond’s Mill.
Bond’s Mill Gatehouse was built in 1940 at the canal bridge opposite the gateway to Bond’s Mill which housed the Sperry Gyroscope Factory.
The building formed part of a line of ‘Pill Box’ emplacements forming ‘Stop Line Green’ to defend Bristol and its aircraft factories and docks from a threatened invasion from the south-east.
Excellent & plentiful free parking at weekends.
