Choral Concert at St Cyrs

Music on a watery theme — Paddle Your Own Canoe

Paddle Your Own Canoe is the title of the concert to be performed at St Cyrs Church, Stonehouse at 7:30 pm on Sunday 28th October.

The Cotswold Canals Singers, conducted by Hugh Barton, have been enthused by Tom Hards, ‘The Kayaking Commuter’.
Back in April 2018, Tom took to the water to get to his place of work in Stonehouse. His daily paddle-powered journeys past St Cyrs Church inspired the choral group to create a medley of music with a watery theme.

The programme will be presented by The Cotswold Canals Singers in collaboration with ‘Camtabile’ a mixed choir based in Cam near Dursley.

The ensemble will be further enriched by harpist Jemima Phillips
